Das Bruttogehalt ist der Gesamtbetrag Ihres Lohnes vor Abzug aller Steuern und Sozialversicherungsbeiträge. Das Nettogehalt ist jener Betrag, der Ihnen ausbezahlt wird – nach Abzug aller fälligen Steuern und Sozialversicherungsbeiträge. Bei den Abzügen handelt es sich um die Lohnsteuer und die Sozialversicherung, in der auch die Arbeitslosenversicherung enthalten ist. Der Sozialversicherungsbeitrag liegt aktuell bei 18,12 Prozent für Arbeiter*innen und Angestellte und wird jährlich angepasst.
