What does it mean to be a recognized accounting company?
The accounting profession is a so-called regulated trade, which is under the supervision of the President of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. In order to be able to practice this trade, appropriate qualifications, experience and special expertise are necessary - we have all of this!
What does the electronic submission mean in accordance with Section 2, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the BibuG 2014?
The Accounting Act (BibuG2014) regulates our professional qualifications, ie. what we are allowed and what not. Section 2, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of this Act states that we can hand over your tax compensation electronically for you to the tax office.
What is RelaxTax's mission?
We really want all employees in Austria to make a tax return in order to benefit from the wage tax concessions that are rightfully due. Many of them have to be applied for and that can only be done by means of a tax compensation to the tax office.
Do the RelaxTax virtual tax buddies give me tax advice?
They tell a lot more about their personal and professional situation and ask whether this is also applicable to you or applies to you. So it's more of a conversation than an advising. Like talking to your best friend or your best friend.
I don't speak German, but English. Can I still use RelaxTax?
Yes of course. Our virtual tax buddies and the entire RelaxTax team speak fluent English. One even speaks Spanish.

Yes of course. Our app is available for iOS and Android.
